Mr. Qavi, a 74-year-old senior artist, is the inspiration behind Qavi Arts. His personal journey demonstrates how creativity, learning, and self-expression can bring renewed purpose, peace, and hope at every stage of life.

During a period of grief and emotional challenges, Mr. Qavi turned to art as a source of comfort, mindfulness, and inner strength. He began creating distinctive geometric artwork and discovered that the process of drawing, observing patterns, and transforming ideas into art gave him a deep sense of peace and emotional wellbeing.

What began as a personal form of healing gradually developed into a larger purpose. Through his art, Mr. Qavi found a meaningful way to express himself, remain engaged, and rediscover joy. He now wishes to share his artwork, experiences, and learnings with others and inspire older people not to lose hope.

Mr. Qavi believes that learning can take many forms and that it is never too late to develop a new skill, explore a creative interest, or share knowledge with others. His journey reflects the importance of keeping the mind active, building social connections, and finding meaningful activities that support emotional wellbeing and healthy ageing.

Through Qavi Arts, Mr. Qavi hopes to encourage older people to continue learning, creating, teaching, and contributing to society. His message is simple:

Age should never be a barrier to creativity, learning, purpose, or hope.

Today, Qavi Arts stands as a growing movement focused on:

  • creative wellbeing,
  • social impact,
  • digital empowerment,
  • and sustainable community-building.
