Qavi Arts is a creative wellbeing and community platform inspired by the belief that every older person has valuable knowledge, skills, experiences, stories, and talents to share.
We provide a welcoming and inclusive space where older people can explore creativity, learn new skills, showcase their artistic abilities, share their life experiences, and connect with others. Our platform recognises senior citizens not only as learners but also as teachers, mentors, creators, contributors, and community leaders.
At Qavi Arts, members of the elderly community are invited to teach what they know—whether it is art, music, crafts, culture, professional expertise, traditional knowledge, life skills, or personal experiences. By sharing their learning with others, older people can feel recognised, valued, confident, and connected.
Through creative activities, lifelong learning, digital participation, and intergenerational knowledge-sharing, Qavi Arts aims to promote emotional wellbeing, reduce social isolation, encourage active ageing, and support meaningful engagement in later life. Creative and learning-based activities can help stimulate the mind, encourage social interaction, and contribute positively to overall wellbeing. While creativity is not presented as a cure for conditions such as dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, meaningful learning, mental stimulation, creative expression, and social connection can form valuable parts of a supportive and active lifestyle.
Our work is centred around:
- Creative Wellbeing — encouraging mindfulness, self-expression, confidence, emotional connection, and personal fulfilment through art and creativity.
- Lifelong Learning — empowering older people to explore new skills, interests, technologies, and creative opportunities at any age.
- Knowledge-Sharing — creating opportunities for senior citizens to teach, mentor, demonstrate, and pass on their knowledge and life experiences.
- Social Connection — building an inclusive community where older people can meet, collaborate, develop friendships, and reduce feelings of isolation.
- Digital Empowerment — supporting older people to use digital tools to learn, showcase their work, share their stories, and connect with wider communities.
- Social Impact — challenging age-related stereotypes and celebrating older people as active, capable, creative, and valuable contributors to society.
- Sustainable Community-Building — developing a supportive ecosystem where creativity, knowledge, and experience can be shared across generations.
Qavi Arts is more than an art platform. It is a growing movement that celebrates the creativity, wisdom, resilience, and lifelong potential of older people.
We believe that every older person has something valuable to learn, something meaningful to create, and something important to teach.
